Tell me what you think of our rail service

Written by Peter Welch on Tue 25th Aug 2009

Rail users can now give their views on strikes and services on-line - thanks to Southend West Liberal Democrat challenger, Peter Welch.

Peter Welch told Focus "Norman Baker MP, our transport spokesman inspired me to launch this survey. We discussed the train service during Norman's recent visit to Southend. Norman had already done some work on this - revealing that scheduled journey times between Southend and London are often longer that they were a decade or more ago.

"I decided that it was time to seek the views of commuters for myself."

The survey can be taken on-line at survey.libdems.org.uk/take/630
