Southend Black History Month

In celebration of Black History Month, we are proud to share events from groups across the Borough.
During the month of October, Southend Libraries will be highlighting books and authors that celebrate black lives and culture, Focal Point Gallery is presenting a new film by Southend for Black Lives Matter and Southend Youth Council, working in partnership with One Southend and the Southend Association of Voluntary Services (SAVS), are presenting an online event called 'Celebration of Black Lives' with workshops, guest speakers and more.
More events are due to be added as month goes on, so make sure to look out for them!
